HOW IS GLOBAL RESCUE DIFFERENT FROM TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Travel insurance and a Global Rescue membership are not the same thing. A Global Rescue membership is more than financial protection. Our in-house operations teams handle all logistics and case management from the moment a member contacts us.
While some travel insurance policies might offer reimbursement for medical evacuations, you wouldn’t call your travel insurance provider to coordinate these types of services for yourself, a family member or a traveler.
Travel insurance protects the value of your travelers’ trips with cancellation options that include Cancel For Any Reason, accident and sickness medical insurance and baggage loss. Insurance products traditionally operate on a back-end reimbursement for the claims process, whereas Global Rescue benefits are available to the member on the front-end with no claims requirements.
